The Real Problem

It’s Not Your NBN — It’s Your Setup

Most homes in the corridor are big, double-storey, and running everything — streaming in three rooms, video calls, gaming, security cameras, smart devices — through one router in a corner cupboard where the builder left the NBN box. No plan upgrade fixes that. The right access points in the right places, and cable where it counts, does.

Whole-Home Mesh WiFi
Our Most Popular

Business & Office Networking

Slow WiFi costs staff time; dropouts cost sales. From small offices to warehouses and shopfronts, SkyAV builds business networks that just work — and keeps supporting them after the install.

Office & Guest WiFi
Reliable coverage for staff plus a separate, secure guest network for customers — no more sharing the office password.
Racks & Cabling
Comms rack builds, structured data cabling and tidy patching — from new fit-outs to untangling the cupboard nobody wants to open.
Everything Connected
Cameras, phones, EFTPOS, printers and cloud systems on one properly-segmented network — with remote support when you need it.
The SkyAV Difference

What’s Included In Every Job

Done Properly

Signal survey first — we measure before we recommend, so you only buy what your home actually needs
Clean installation — concealed cable runs, wall-mounted access points, no gear balanced on bookshelves
Quality hardware — systems we’d run in our own homes, with proper warranties

Set Up For You

Every device migrated — phones, TVs, cameras, printers all reconnected and tested
Secured out of the box — strong passwords, guest network, smart devices separated from your personal data
Local support after the install — if something plays up, you call me, not an offshore helpdesk
WiFi upgrades pair perfectly with CCTV and smart home installs — one visit, one network done right. See CCTV & Security.
How It Works

From Buffering To Brilliant

01

Tell us the pain — which rooms drop out, how many people stream at once, single or double storey. No call-out fee for quoting.

02

Survey & fixed quote — we measure your actual coverage and quote exactly what’s needed, nothing more.

03

Install & migrate — gear positioned properly, cables concealed, every device reconnected and tested room by room.

04

Prove it — we walk the house with you and show the speeds in the rooms that used to drop out.

Good To Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my WiFi slow when I pay for fast NBN?
Because speed into the house and coverage through the house are different problems. A single router can’t push signal through double-brick walls and two storeys of house. If your speed test is great next to the router and terrible in the back bedroom, it’s a coverage problem — and that’s exactly what we fix.
Mesh WiFi or a WiFi extender?
Cheap extenders halve your speed and create a second network your phone clings to at the wrong times. A proper mesh system gives you one seamless network with full speed everywhere. Extenders are a band-aid; mesh is a fix.
Is it worth running cables in a WiFi world?
For anything that doesn’t move — TVs, desktop PCs, gaming consoles, cameras, access points — wired is faster, more stable and takes load off your WiFi so everything else improves too. Best of all worlds: wired backbone, strong WiFi for the mobile stuff.
Can you sort out the builder’s “NBN cupboard”?
Very familiar with it — the router jammed in a hallway cupboard or garage where signal goes to die. We either relocate the gear, add wired access points in better spots, or both. This is one of the most common jobs in the new estates.
Will my security cameras and smart home devices work better too?
Almost always. Cameras dropping offline and smart devices “not responding” are usually WiFi problems, not device problems. A proper network makes everything on it more reliable.
How much does it cost?
A health check and tune-up is the affordable starting point, mesh systems scale with the size of your home, and hardwiring is quoted per point. Every quote is fixed and itemised — and if a cheap fix will solve it, that’s what we’ll tell you.
